Class 9C: Week -- Project Ideas

Here are the ideas we discussed in class today.  Please look over them and comment.

Consider the following in your comments:

  • How much time will it take?
  • What skills or expertise do you need to make it work?
  • What technology or equipment do we need to make it work?
  • Will there be something to 'show' at the end - some end product?
Of course, other considerations such as 'do you like it' and 'will we enjoy it' are important too.  Feel free to post both positive, supportive comments as well as critiques.

Each idea is posted as a Comment to this post. Write your thoughts as Replies under the relevant Comment (Idea).

Thank you

    1. I'm not a big fan of drama and such things. I hate it so that's nothing I would like to do. I liked this idea the most but I don't think this can be the only project, or I don't think it will be fun. Maybe we can have it as homework and have a discussion for like 20 minutes every wednesday? After the discussion we work with another project. I don't know how we are going to discuss the subject though. We all need some knowledge about the subject we are going to discuss.

    2. How are we going to hand it in..? Are we just going to send it to the person after you on the list? Are we going to send it to you too Kristen?

    3. Maybe we can e-mail them to each other and copy-paste them into word documents? :)

    4. I would propose that each of you have the choice to do one of the following in terms of handing your story in to me:
      - Don't hand it in to me
      - Hand it in to me just to read
      - Hand it in to me to read and comment on the contents
      - Hand it in to me to read and correct errors
      - Hand it in to me to read, comment on the contents AND correct errors

That way each person can decide for themselves how much help they want from me. Does that sounds good?

    1. I think it would be very vun to go on field trips. For examples we can visit museums or exhibitions. Of course it will be difficult since we have so little time.

    1. Please, no more book circles. We've already done it twice and it would be a wasted opportunity when there's so many other interesting projects to do.
